Vauhti Pure Up Glide Wax Blocks

from $54.00

While we love the Vauhti Pure Race glide waxes in old snow, they are hard on the pocketbook. The Pure Up range is the sweet spot in the Vauhti Pure gliders, with race level performance available for a good price.

For the most part, while these are great for the skier who wants to stay with one glide wax brand, for the speed nerds out there the Vauhti Pure Up products are likely to test at their best in old snow.

Polar -5.0°C and -25.0°C. One of the best glide waxes for very cold. Best used as a hot wax. Good in new or old but particularly good in snow that's been groomed a few times.

Cold -2.0°C and -15.0°C. Amazing range, in some parts of the country this is what you put on early in the season and just refresh regularly. Any snow type, outstanding in old or abrasive snow.

LDR +5.0°C and -10.0°C. For warmer climates this is the everyday performance wax. It can be tweaked for extra performance or race day when a layer of the appropriate Vauhti Pure Up liquid waxes are applied on top. For a long distance race or training day when conditions are likely to change, go with this as the first layer. And likely the final layer as well.

Warm +7°C and -3°C. Damp to sticky wet snow.. If the snow is fresh or falling, this will outperform the liquid version. For snow getting very wet, a layer of Pure Up Warm Liquid applied on top and only partially dried can be the bomb.
