Star Next Powder Glide Wax - 28g
These are outstanding fluoro-free glide waxes.
Good speed in most conditions, but a top choice in new or fine grained snow at lower humidity.
In general the iron-in powders can be faster than the liquid versions in fresh snow but it is intriguing how much the performance can be optimized by adding one of the liquid Next waxes on top. Creativity rules here as the Next liquid on top do not have to be the same range, ie, adding a Medium liquid on top of a Cold Powder.
The powdered waxes tend to be easier to apply with less waste compared to a block version glide wax. Also very nice is that the iron temperatures required aren't freakishly high.
Polar for snow temperature -10°...-20°C
Cold for snow temperature -6°...-12°C
Medium for snow temperature -3°...-8°C
Warm for snow temperature 0°...-5°C
