Star 70mm Roto-brushes

from $68.00

Star is making some of the finest roto-brushes using exceptionally well chosen bristle lengths and stiffness.

And the 70mm width means you can create your own stack on a 140mm roto-handle.

The Gold nylon is fairly soft, and even at high rotating speed will not create too much heat. This is a versatile brush, great for polishing iron-in glide waxes after scraping and first brushing, and also for finishing liquid glide waxes.

The Unicorn brush is a very fine horsehair brush. This is the go-to for the first brush after scraping a hot wax application. On a sprint day when top coats become contaminated or need to be lightly removed before adding a different glide wax, this is a top choice to do the work without stripping everything down to the base.

The fine steel is unfortunately very expensive but once you try it you'll have no regrets. This is by far the best brush to use on hot waxes for very cold conditions. It will make short work of those extremely hard glide wax layers, and the bristles are so fine that it can clean the very fine structure on a cold stone grind. VERY IMPORTANT to pay attention to how you install it on a spindle as it is directional. If you have layers of top coats that need to be quickly taken off down to the base, this is the brush you need.
