Rode Super Weiss Stick
There are more opinions on this grip wax than most any other.
Some say it is for new and falling snow just under the Violet range, others say it runs best in old but not transformed snow in the warm blue range and tracks starting to glaze. Some techs have been surprised when it tests well in cold and dry conditions! I've had it produce great grip and skate-ski glide in settled fine grain snow when the sun is out with temperatures approaching 40F but with the underlying snowpack wax in the teens. The only thing consistent is that it is best in fine grained snow and that you need to test it, because when it works there's just nothing close. Weird and wonderful kick wax.
Of note is that this very old formulation is still used at the World Cup level when waxing gets challenging in new snow.
