Rex NFX Blocks

$84.95

Wax technologies continue to search for speed that we had previously obtained using fluorocarbons. The NFX paraffins from Rex have been providing some of the most reliably fast results, and with the NFX Blocks another level has been achieved.

Meant as a top coat to create maximum accelerations, these can be applied by rubbing onto the ski base and then ironing in, or applied by wool roto-fleece. Finish by roto fleece (if ironed in) and then nylon brushing.

NFX Blue Block. -1...-10°C. Broad spectrum top coat for typical mid-winter conditions on most snow types.

NFX Gold Block. +5...-5°C. Specific to wet snow.

NFX New Block. +3...-8°C. Specific to new and falling snow. Rex recommends best underlayers as NF21G hot wax or liquid wax.

NFX Old Block. +5…-20°C. As the name indicates, for old snow, especially coarse and abrasive snow. Huge temperature range.
