Rex N Series Grip Stick Waxes
Rex stick waxes have always had respect, but the addition of their proprietary N-Kinetic chemistry used in their glide waxes have created new grip waxes with exceptional speed. Additionally there is what Rex terms their "Dual Compound" technology, where the wax can change consistency depending on pressure and temperature - this keeps the wax adaptable over a wide temperature range.
N11 Yellow for 2°C to -2°C. A good choice for zero conditions new or old snow, either as the body or a top coat for speed. Also good as a speed coat on top of klister.
N21G Black for -1C/-12C. This is for new snow only. With a very wide range and fantastic anti-icing properties and speed, this can be used as the main kick layers or a top coat.
N21 Blue for -2°C to -8°C. Hey, this is a Rex blue kick wax so it has to be good! But a Rex blue kicker that is faster than before, with an even wider range? We're in!
N31 Green for -8°C to -20°C. Very cold and dry green conditions can be slow, we're calling this green kicker as primarily a speed top coat. Because it is fast!
N41 Pink for -2°C to -15°C. That temperature range is correct. N41 is another of the new generation klister/hard wax mixes. For old, heavily transformed or man-made snow. The anti-icing properties are very good with this wax, and it is more versatile than one would expect. "Transformed" snow is an interesting term, as we found this to be a top race wax on a day with fresh fine grained snow that was changing very rapidly due to moisture - very high humidity and temperatures well above zero. Normally a red klister type day but the N41 was the pick. If you're not generally a fan of Rex stick waxes, you should consider this one.
